Release of Transcript

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits the release of a transcript or the information recorded hereon to a third party without the student's express written consent.

It is now easier than ever to order your transcript.  Young Harris College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the internet.  To order an official transcript log in to National Student Clearinghouse.  The site walks you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees.  You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session.

To insure confidentiality and to comply with federal regulations when using the internet, you must authenticate yourself.  Alumni and students using the online service are presented with the Consent to Release form.  You are instructed to print the for, sign it and fax it to the Clearinghouse before your order can be completed.  In addition to the convenience of credit card payment, the online service keeps you informed about the status of your request.

To request an official transcript of grades by mail or in person, please mail or bring in the request from or provide the following information:

Full name (Including all names under which you may have attended)
Your handwritten signature (Transcripts will not be released without the student's signature)
Your complete address and telephone number
Your email address and/or cell phone number
Last semester and year you attended Young Harris College
Full address for the destination of the transcript
