YHC Honor Council
Mission Statement
The College's honor code is an essential way to reach the College's goals of academic excellence, personal growth for each student, and a community life based on high moral standards, trust, and mutual respect. The honor council was created to:
- oversee the continued development of the honor code to meet new moral and ethical challenges
- to promote honor and integrity campus-wide
- and to provide members to serve on both hearing and appeals boards in cases where the code has been violated
The council is comprised of two faculty members from each of the four academic divisions and eight elected students.
