Thanksgiving Holiday (No Classes) Wednesday, November 25 (All day)
The Christmas Cards of Dale Cochran Tuesday, December 1 4:00 PM @ Campus Gate Art Gallery

In 1964, Cochran began to create Christmas cards silk-screened with a homemade screen. In 1969, he brought the new technique of cut-paper designs to his cards, with the first featuring a bird motif which would become the subject for all of his future cards. Cochran’s inspiration comes from many sources including photographs, the printed word, observation and original concepts. His paintings of native wildflowers and bird hang in collections across the United States and Europe.
