Strategist, sustainability specialist and author of “Between God & Green: How Evangelicals Are Cultivating a Middle Ground on Climate Change” Katherine Wilkinson, Ph.D., will deliver the annual Hamilton Lecture. Dr. Wilkinson will address how evangelical environmentalists are reshaping the landscape of American climate action and the contours of their own religious community. She will also discuss insights and lessons from her research.
A Rhodes Scholar and Udall Scholar, Dr. Wilkinson earned her Ph.D. in environmental studies from the University of Oxford and her B.A. in religion from Sewanee: The University of the South, where she was valedictorian. She is currently a director at the purpose consultancy firm BrightHouse, LLC, where she works with visionary corporate leaders to forge greater meaning and social value in business. She previously worked as a consultant for Boston Consulting Group, where she specialized in organizational strategy, culture and behavior change.
She is involved in many efforts related to sustainability and has worked for the Natural Resources Defense Council and Coca-Cola Recycling. She also taught environmental social science at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England.
