When four young prep school students begin taking turns reading William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” aloud, the story itself becomes more and more thrilling. The rigidity of their own lives begins to parallel the lives of the characters in the play. 

Recommeneded for mature audiences due to strong languages and adult themes.

Battle of Blood Mountain rivalry match against cross-mountain rival University of North Georgia.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children (ages 7-13) and free for children, ages six and under. YHC students, faculty and staff will be admitted to all regular-season home games for free with a valid YHC ID.

The annual Graduate School Fair is an opportunity for YHC students to connect with various graduate schools. New Beginnings Combined Choirs Concert Saturday, September 30 7:00 PM @ Glenn-McGinnis Hall

The New Beginnings Combined Choirs Concert features Christopher Tucker's world premiere commission "Dawning of the Day" in honor of the newly renovated Glenn-McGinnis Hall. This concert is part of the Grand Re-Opening events for Glenn-McGinnis Hall. Cost is $5 or free with YHC ID. Tickets can be purchased at yhc.edu/glennmcginnishall

Violinist Dr. Rachael Fischer
Guest Artist Concert: Dr. Rachael Fischer Monday, October 2 7:00 PM @ Glenn-McGinnis Hall

Violinist Rachael Fischer, D.M.A, began playing the violin at age four and continues to perform as a soloist and chamber musician. She has been invited to perform for regional, national and international events, and her recent concert appearances include chamber music performances with clarinetist Jon Manasse, the Aspen String Trio, and the University of Georgia string faculty. Dr. Fischer has completed extensive training sessions with the St. Lawrence and Julliard string quartets.

Reece Lecture: Charles Baxter Tuesday, October 10 7:00 PM @ Suber Banquet Hall

Acclaimed novelist and critic Charles Baxter, author of The Feast of Love and There's Something I Want You To Do, will present the 2017-2018 Byron Herbert Reece Lecture at YHC.
