YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — Bringing 20 years of financial experience, Bobby Moye joins Young Harris College as the new Chief Financial Officer.

Moye joins the College from Barto Hoss and Company where he worked for the past two years, providing consultations and tax work for various clients. When he heard about the chance to come to the Enchanted Valley, it was “an instant yes!”

“I am excited to join the team here at Young Harris College and become part of this incredible community,” Moye said. “The students, faculty, and staff have been very welcoming to me as I have been learning my way around.”

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and continued on, earning his master’s in Accountancy from the same institution. He feels this background has prepared him and allowed him to work in various academic settings, serving at institutions such as Wesleyan College, Oak Hall School, and Central Alabama Community College.

He moves to the Enchanted Valley with his wife and “the lapdog of his dreams,” his nine-pound schnauzer. Their children are grown up and live in various cities giving them the time to explore the area and find new and exciting restaurants. He also enjoys being outdoors and boating in his free time.
