Dr. Matthew Saunders to Offer Master Class at Young Harris College

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Division of Fine Arts at Young Harris College is pleased to welcome Dr. Matthew Saunders for a master class on Thursday, Feb. 16, from 6-8 p.m. in room 103 of the Clegg Fine Arts Building on the YHC campus. This master class is free and open to the public.

A composer, music educator, and trombonist, Dr. Saunders will showcase his new work “Twenty Views of the Trombone” that will premiere in Atlanta, on Friday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m. at the Eyedrum Art and Music Gallery. 

Dr. Saunders currently serves as an associate professor of music and chair of the Music Department at Lakeland Community College, where he also directs the Lakeland Civic Orchestra.
