Young Harris College’s Annual Fall Fest Offers Family-Friendly Fun

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Young Harris College will host the annual Fall Fest on Thursday, Oct. 27, with activities beginning at 6 p.m. and lasting until 8 p.m. on the YHC campus. The event is open to the public and promises to be a fun-filled experience for all ages. Fall Fest is co-sponsored by the Division of Student Development, Office of Campus Activities, Office of Residence Life and Office of Campus Recreation. Admission is $3 per child or $5 for two.

The College’s main plaza will be full of Halloween games, activities, treats and a photo booth to capture pictures of the best Halloween costumes.

Trick-or-treating will take place in Enotah Hall and Appleby Center residence halls. Then, visit a haunted house that is guaranteed to give thrills in YHC’s Recreation and Fitness Center. The haunted house is recommended for children 11 and older.

“Fall Fest this year is not one to miss,” said senior business and public policy major and Campus Activities Board President Justin Redmond, of Athens, Ga. “This is one of my favorite events at YHC. All of the organizations go all out for their booths. With that on top of trick-or-treating, the fun house and our annual haunted house you might just have a spooky time!”

Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.
