Young Harris College to Present Percussion Ensemble Concert

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Young Harris College Percussion Ensemble will present a concert on Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in Glenn Auditorium of the Clegg Fine Arts Building on the YHC campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The ensemble will perform a variety of solo and ensemble literature written for a myriad of percussive instruments such as xylophone, marimba, vibes, tympani, and more.

Two students will be featured as soloists during the concert. Peters. Dr. Baxter will be featured as a soloist during “White Knuckle Stroll” by American percussionist Casey Cangelosi.
