Young Harris College’s Office of Mentor and Career Leadership teamed up with the Student Government Association (SGA) this fall to co-sponsor a student conversation series titled “Career and Life Beyond Colleges.”
The Bonner Leaders Program at Young Harris College has added several new student-led initiatives this year, including a new “Swap Shop” that allows students, faculty and staff to donate and take a variety of items in an effort to reduce waste and educate the campus community about reusing and repurposing things.

On Nov. 14, YHC hosted a food-packing event in which 90 faculty, staff and student volunteers packed more than 10,000 meals in three hours to assist Stop Hunger Now.
