Dr. Lumpkin received her B.A. in psychology from Case-Western Reserve University and her M.Ed. in vocational rehabilitation counseling from Auburn University. She received her Ph.D. in instructional technology from Georgia State University. She has taught technology integration for educators as well as courses in digital literacy for Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University. Dr. Lumpkin is currently president-elect for the Culture, Learning and Technology Division of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology.
