Dawn Dickins
Professor of Art
Dawn Martin Dickins earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree Magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia and her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. Prior to her YHC appointment, Mrs. Dickins taught at Augusta State University, Georgia Southern University, and the University of South Carolina. A practicing professional artist, her drawings and installations have been exhibited widely throughout the Southeast in solo and group exhibitions.

Rusty Wallace
Professor of Art
Rusty Wallace earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky and his Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Prior to his YHC appointment, Mr. Wallace taught at The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Wallace’s work has received honors and awards and has been exhibited regionally and nationally at The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, Atlanta, Georgia, Grounds for Sculpture, Hamilton, New Jersey, and The Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Wallace has also collaborated with other artists in exhibitions in The Armory Show in New York City and The Broad Street Gallery in Athens, Georgia.
