Scott Dean earned a Bachelor of Arts in dramatic arts from Coastal Carolina University in 2006 and a Master of Arts in Photography and Digital Imaging from University of Lincoln in 2009. While in Lincoln, England, Scott’s work was featured in two exhibitions: Albion: Britain Redefined, a multimedia showcase that explored how technology defines cultural values in British society, and From Concept to Catwalk, a multimedia experience with traditional prints, video projections and a live fashion show. Scott worked at the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery at Coastal Carolina University for two years. He also served as lead photographer for 803 Labs, an imaging, education, technology and design firm in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he regularly taught photography courses in composition, lighting and photojournalism. Scott currently works as a professional photographer, regularly contributing to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and other publications while also continuing to pursue photographic art projects in film and digital mediums. He also serves as Adjunct Instructor of Art at Young Harris College and serves as the advisor for the Enotah yearbook and YHC Photography Club.
