The Division of Fine Arts at Young Harris College is proud to offer students premiere training and a world-class experience in our mountain community. We take pride in our liberal arts heritage, and the fact that we are a small College allows our professors to take an individual interest in every student we have the privilege of nurturing.
With multiple disciplines within the primary areas of Art, Music, Music Education and Theatre, our division offers something for every young artist. Our faculty members are dedicated teachers and professionals in their fields, ready to guide students from each of our disciplines into a world of success.
We host several Scholarship Days for students pursuing programs in Art, Music, Musical Theatre and Theatre.
Our programs are proud to enhance the cultural life of YHC through dozens of art exhibitions, music ensemble performances, concerts and theatrical presentations every year. Even if you aren’t a fine arts major, we invite and encourage you to participate actively in our programs.
We strive to offer both the College and local community the best in culturally enriching entertainment—not just from our talented students, but also from nationally acclaimed artists and performers. If you would like to receive a calendar of our 2014-15 season, please contact us.
If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding training program that enhances craft, skill and artistic abilities, then look no further than YHC’s Division of Fine Arts. We have a long legacy of successful graduates. We look forward to seeing you here on our beautiful campus.
