Eric is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he received a bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance. Since his graduation from UGA, he received a Master's degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he served as a band teaching assistant. Eric has enjoyed many great opportunities including performing in the 2000 Super Bowl Halftime Show and at Carnegie Hall in New York City, as well as taking part in international performances in Italy and China along with various jazz and Latin music performances throughout Georgia and Missouri. Eric is currently a freelance percussionist in North Georgia, where he frequently teaches and performs with many high-level groups. Eric is a member of the Vic Firth Education Team.
