Kerry Rittenhouse
Adjunct Instructor of Music
Kerry Rittenhouse joined the YHC adjunct faculty in 2011. He holds the Bachelor of Music (1985), Master of Science for Teachers (1990) and Educational Specialist Degrees (1999) from Georgia Southern University. He has been the Director of Bands at West Laurens High School and Dublin High School in central Georgia. In 2004, he became the Director of Bands at Union County High School in Blairsville, Ga. His bands have consistently received superior ratings at both marching and concert events throughout his career. He has performed with the Savannah Symphony, The Statesboro-Georgia Symphony Orchestra, The Men of Note Big Band, The Dublin Big Band and The Northwinds Symphonic Band. He is currently a member of the Brasstown Big Band based in Young Harris. His professional associations include The Georgia Music Educators Association, The National Association of Music Education and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
