The Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Liberal Arts allows students to focus on literature and foreign language as well as the philosophical and theological texts which are the bedrock of civilization. Students in the program take the usual core curriculum but have a richer experience by adding classes in areas such as British, American and world literature. They also select additional classes in philosophy, ethics, Old and New Testaments and world religions. This degree can help prepare students for any bachelor of arts program and is a great place for students to begin their college careers.
Selected topics are offered each semester dealing with timely subjects of interest to students and faculty. Hours accumulated may be used to meet elective requirements.
