Dorm Energy Competition 2008 - Sponsored by LST 126

The competition starts with the electric meter readings [kWhr] on Monday 3/24/2008 and continues for 3 weeks.
The average rate of energy consumption per person per dorm [in average Watts per person over two periods] is shown in Table 1.
The goal is to reduce these numbers during the competition, with the winning dorm reducing their consumption per person (Table 2) the most relative to the normal usage shown in Table 1.
Table 1. Average rate of energy consumption [Watts per person] for the academic year 2006 - 2007. These numbers are the same within error as the measurements taken the two weeks prior to the competition (shown in the second row). Comments:
26-Mar: Normal consumption modified to reflect yearly average rather than spring break baseline of 205, 339, 188, 324, and 164 W/person, respectively.
**28-Mar: From Sunday 3/23 5 PM to Tuesday 3/25 5 PM the electrical heating unit in Rollins (unique to Rollins and PB: electric furnace heats water) was running due to colder temperatures; the usage during this period, far in excess of the baseline numbers, are not used in the ranking. Numbers from the other dorms during this period are also not included in the final rankings.
