This is the most exciting tip yet – we now have curbside/roadside/ditch-side recycling!!!! This guy will even come to my house.

Before you read the add below join me on Wednesday at 1:00 in McKibben Conference Room for a discussion of all things green with the master planners on campus. If you were part of the Greener Campus Union group from last spring or want to be part of that group for the coming year or just have an interest in what the planners can do for our campus, please join me.

It ain’t easy being GREEN these days!!! Relax, we are here to help. You are helping too, by helping us. Green Mountain is now offering FREE curbside pick up for Towns, Union, Clay and Cherokee Counties.

We take all: plastics, papers, cardboards, glass, aluminum, tin cans, cell phones, batteries, appliances, and electronics.

There are many ways we can set up service for your needs.

If you need containers, we can supply them. If you want to use your own containers or own your own that’s even better. If you can’t separate, no problem, we know and understand that everyone is busy these days. Just put it in one bin. Of course, if you have time to separate, that’s great!!!

Either way, it’s good for everyone and we are helping the environment that we live in.
