Dr. Roach joined the Young Harris faculty in 2002.  His interests include eighteenth-century Scottish rhetoric, Appalachian rhetoric, and the history of radio and pulp magazines.  He has published articles in The Christian Standard, Popular Culture Review, and Review of Communication.  In 2007, he was appointed to the Maxwell Chair of Speech.  Ron was appointed Associate Dean for Academic Services in January 2008.  Please contact Dr. Roach at (706) 379-5139 or email him at rroach@yhc.edh.  He will be glad to help with any academic questions or concerns.
