Students may attend another college as a transient student provided they plan to return to Young Harris College or transfer hours to meet graduation requirements.

A transient permission form will need to be obtained from their academic adviser.  This form will need to be completed and approved by the academic advisor, transfer counselor and the registrar.  Courses that are equivalent to or substitute for courses offered at Young Harris College will transfer as long as the transient institution is accredited and the student earns grades of at least "C."  Grades and quality points earned in these courses will not be figured in the cumulative grade point average at Young Harris College.  It is the student's responsibility at the end of the term to request an official transcript be sent to Young Harris College.
