Helix Tower
Helix Tower and Low Ropes Challenge Course at Young Harris College

Climbing - Rappelling - Team Building
The Helix Climbing Tower and Rappell Tower by Project Adventure is a fantastic faciliy available to the students, faculty and staff of Young Harris College. The tower has two climbing surfaces of 40 and 45 feet, and a rappell surface. What is unique about the Helix is that it is "twisted" which creates a more dynamic climbing experience as opposed to just straight up and down. The face of the climbs slope both forward (positive) or backward (negative) which gives climbers of varying abilities a wide range of route options.
In addition to the climbing tower, we also have a low challenge course which contains the following elements: TP Shuffle, Wild Woosey, Mohawk Walk, Tension Traverse, Swinging Tires and the Port Hole. All of these elemnts set the stage for group initiatives and team building for students in participant and leadership roles.
