Dr. Jennifer Pemberton received her B. A. in Sociology from New College of Florida and her M. S. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Florida State University. Her teaching and research interests include Sex/Gender, Sexualities, Race/Ethnicity, Social Stratification, the Welfare State and Social Policy, Appalachian Studies, Social Psychology, and Sociological Theory.
