2008-2009 Local Scholarship Campaign

Young Harris College continues to provide scholarships for local students.  In the 2008-2009 academic year, we will award almost $1 Million to local students, a reflection of our commitment to the students and communities surrounding our campus.  The Board of Associates, comprised of local citizens who act as ambassadors for the college, endorse this annual campaign.

All gifts to the Local Scholarship Campaign are awarded to students from Towns, Union and Fannin counties in Georgia and Clay and Cherokee counties in North Carolina. Working together, we can make a solid contribution to the future of deserving students from our local area and ensure that they are not left behind solely because of a lack of financial resources.

For more information on the Scholarship Campaign for Local Students or to make a gift or pledge to the campaign, contact Jennifer McAfee in the Office of Advancement at 706-379-5318 or 1-800-241-3754.

A pledge made now can be paid any time before June 30, 2009.
