Cross Country
The YHC men’s cross country team has captured its first Region Championship!
Kyle Ingram led the way with a 3rd place overall finish. The YHC men’s team dominated the meet by working as a team. The team was well prepared for the difficult course. They have been training very hard on YHC’s cross country trail, Miller Trek, and the old wagon trail to Brasstown Bald. The men’s team will now advance to the NJCAA National Championship meet located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
The women’s cross country team also had a great season . They finished second overall. Stella Snowden led the way with a third place finish.
Also, congratulations to Barry Brown for being named Region XVII Men’s Coach of the year!
