Mullins Scholarship Announced
Cathy Cox, president of Young Harris College, is pleased to announce the establishment of the David and Margaret Mullins Scholarship. Family and friends created the Mullins Scholarship as a tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Mullins for their many years of dedication to the College.
To many alumni, David and Margaret Mullins are Young Harris College. The couple met at Young Harris as students. Through their involvement with The Little Store on campus, their relationship with the students of YHC goes far beyond selling books or the occasional soft drink. The couple has come into contact with virtually every student passing through the gates of YHC for the past 46 years. And although their retirement brings an end to an era, the Mullins tradition at Young Harris will continue as daughters LaRanda and DeBronda take over management of The Little Store.

Founded in 1886, Young Harris College is a private, core liberal arts college focused on university preparation. Historically affiliated with The United Methodist Church, a primary goal of Young Harris College is to provide a quality education for the whole person: intellectually, socially, culturally, and spiritually.
