An Evening at the U.S.O.

The Young Harris College Music Department will present its tribute to the 1940s in the Hilda D. Glenn Auditorium on March 28 and 29 at 8:00 p.m.  Come and enjoy the Big Band atmosphere including period costumes, nickel cokes and popcorn, and great music such as "I'll Never Stop Loving You, "As Time Goes By, "Beyond the Sea, "I've Got a Gal in Kalamazoo, and many more.

The Young Harris College Choir, under the direction of Jeff Bauman, will be providing musical entertainment, accompanied by pianist Cynthia DeFoor and a live orchestra.  The concert also features Dr. Keith DeFoor on the piano accompanying soloists in such pieces as "Do Nothin 'til You Hear From Me, "Don't Get Around Much Any More, and "Makin' Whoopee." 

Admission to the show is free and a donation will be taken to support the music society on campus.  Seating for the show is general admission, no reservations required, but get there early to get a good seat.
