Dr. Lynne Grady, President of the Board of Directors of S.A.F.E., was recently presented with a check for over $800.00 by the staff of the Financial Aid Office at Young Harris College after the office’s fourth annual S.A.F.E. yard sale.   

Items for sale were donated by the college’s staff and faculty.  A portion of these funds will be used to purchase Christmas presents for families currently residing at the S.A.F.E. shelter.  

Mrs. Linda Adams, Director of Financial Aid at YHC, Mrs. Wanda Martin, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, and Mrs. Merrie Heins, Student Financial Aid Counselor and this year’s S.A.F.E. yard sale coordinator, would like to extend a special thank you to the Young Harris College Library for their donation of a large collection of VHS tapes that were sold during the yard sale and to all those who helped to make the fourth annual S.A.F.E. yard sale a success.
