Hi everyone! My name is Molly Blaschke and I am a senior from Athens, Ga., majoring in communication studies with a concentration in media communication. I love being in the mountains and taking advantage of local attractions such as Lake Chatuge, Brasstown Bald and, of course, events hosted by the College. I am involved in many organizations on campus including Gamma Psi sorority, Alpha Xi fraternity and Seniors Paying it Forward (SPIF).
My name is Abbey Walker, and I’m a freshman from Acworth. I plan to major in English with a concentration in creative writing. I’ve always dreamed about becoming a successful sci-fi novelist who will one day have my own book on shelves around the world. I’ve read countless book series and written even more mini-novels during the last six years. I played softball and lacrosse in high school, but decided to forgo athletics at YHC to have a full but different college experience I’d remember the rest of my life. My goal this year is to meet new people and get involved on campus while learning how to become the writer I have always dreamed to be.
