My name is Alex Chance, a junior from Dacula studying early childhood education at YHC. I am involved in S.P.A.G.E. (Student Professional Association of Georgia Educators) and Sigma Beta Sigma (Susan Bs) sorority. I love the scenery as well as the close connections I have made with fellow students, faculty and staff, and the community. YHC is a wonderful place to build self-identity and confidence, and I am glad to call the Enchanted Valley my home.
Hi. I’m John Daniels, a senior history major originally from the Cartersville area. My family moved up to the mountains a few years back, and I’ve fallen in love with the natural beauty surrounding us. We currently live in Blue Ridge, and I commute to YHC. For a few semesters, I was in the Teacher Preparation Program. It was an awesome experience, and I gained a lot of skills I know will help me in the future. I’m also an Eagle Scout, where my final project was creating and placing more than 300 wooden crosses on graves in the Euharlee Black Pioneers’ Cemetery.
