Thomas Leshin, a sophomore business and public policy major from Elgin, Ill., recently asked Brian Johnson, ’94, of Kennesaw, to name something he wished he had done as a YHC student.
Thomas: During my first semester here, I didn’t think I’d ever be involved in Greek life. I joined last semester, and I’m really glad I did. Now, there are so many other things I want to do, like intramural sports and walking the wall before finals, but I just haven’t had the chance yet. What is one thing you didn’t do at YHC that you wish you had?
Brian: Thomas, the one thing I regret not doing the most is simply spending more time in the great outdoors surrounding Young Harris. I wish I had taken more weekends to camp, hike, kayak, swim and explore the unique naturals wonders of the mountains. There are simply too many great things to enjoy in and around that beautiful valley, and I wish I had done more!
