Why YHC: “I found everything I was looking for in a college and so much more at YHC. Besides affording me an excellent academic education, I learned social and personal skills that are necessary to a successful life. I owe so much to YHC and the people I met there. With the help of the Office of Alumni Services, I have been able to reconnect with many of my former classmates.”

Favorite Memory: “Being from south Georgia, I had never seen snow. Late one night, it started snowing—we got eight inches that night. My dorm mother came up to the third floor and woke me up at 3:00 in the morning to tell me to go outside and play in it. This was quite unheard of, as girls were not to be out of the dorm past 10 p.m.!”
