Game 2 saw a little change of pace. The Purple Team came out swinging from the first pitch. They were led by Fr. 1B/RHP Jeff Brown and Fr. C Gabe Shivers. Brown was 3 – 3 at the plate with a double and two runs scored. Shivers went 2 – 3, with a double and a run batted in. Fr. RHP Eric Swegman got the nod for Medlin’s squad, and dominated. Swegman threw a complete game shutout, scattering four hits. The 10 - 0 victory helped even the series at 1 game apiece. The series will resume tomorrow with a double header, first pitch is slated for 3:00PM.
