Game 3 action saw the Swanson led Black squad jump out to an early four run lead, bouncing Purple starter Jeff Brown from the game. Once they jumped out to the lead they never looked back, adding five more runs over the course of the next six innings. Michael Hornsby and Justin Smith helped power the attack. Hornsby was 3 - 4, with a double and a run, while Smith was 1 - 3, with a huge single scoring two. The Purple team was help in check by Bryan Cole who went four innings, giving up two runs on three hits, and striking out two.
