Policy

Jury Duty

The College encourages jury service. You must notify your Supervisor of your need for time off for jury service as soon as you receive a notice or summons from the court. While on jury duty, you will be paid the difference between your pay for a regular seven or eight hour day (based on position), or 35 or 40 hour week (based on position) and jury duty pay. You will be required to provide verification from the court clerk confirming your service as a juror and you will be expected to report or return to work for the remainder of your work schedule on any day you are dismissed from jury service.
