If you are subpoenaed to be a witness, you must notify your Supervisor immediately. If you are summoned to be a witness for the College or if the College asks you to testify, the College will give you time off with pay.
If you are required by subpoena to be a witness for someone other than the College, the College will provide you with a maximum of 16 hours of time off with pay at your base rate. You may also use any available paid leave benefits you have, such as vacation; to cover additional time you are required to be a witness.
If you are released from a witness subpoena before the end of your regularly-scheduled workday, you are required to notify your Supervisor as soon as possible and report to work if your Supervisor asks you to do so.
