Policy

Smoking

Smoking or the use of tobacco products is prohibited inside any building or facility owned by the College. Entrances, breezeways, and balconies are designated as smoke and tobacco free. Students, Faculty and Staff who choose to smoke or use tobacco products must be 25 feet away from any campus building.

Smoking is defined as inhaling, exhaling, burning or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette (including electronic cigarettes), pipe, or other tobacco or vapor producing product in any manner or form.

ENFORCEMENT

Enforcement of this policy is the responsibility of all Employees and violations should be reported to the Administrative team, Human Resources Director, or College President.

Employees are encouraged to discuss any concerns with this policy with their Manager.

Smoking cessation programs are offered from time to time by the College's Health and Wellness Center, and Employees are strongly encouraged to participate.
