Resignation means that you voluntarily terminate your employment at the College
If you decide to resign, provide the College with a written resignation in advance of the date you are leaving. If you are a Non-Exempt Employee, please advise us at least two weeks before the date you will leave. If you are an Exempt Employee, please tell us at least four weeks before the date you will leave.
Before an Employee leaves, the College schedules an exit interview. The exit interview helps us to understand why you are resigning. We can also talk about the changes to your benefits and the return of College property.
If you do not give enough advance notice before leaving, the College may not rehire you if you want to return.
