Georgia Academy of Science

GAS 2017

Young Harris College is happy to welcome the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Georgia Academy of Sciences.  The meeting will take place March 24-25, 2017, with events scheduled primarily in the Maxwell Center and our new Rollins Campus Center.

Nestled in the “Enchanted Valley,” Young Harris is a private liberal arts college with an enrollment of about 1,100 students.  The school was originally founded in 1886 and over the past decade has transformed itself from a two-year institution into a baccalaureate-granting college.  We hope that you will join us this March to enjoy a weekend filled with interesting discussions and presentations of scientific research in the beautiful mountains of northern Georgia!
