The Young Harris College Purple and White Club recognizes annual giving efforts of faculty and staff.
This giving designation serves to acknowledge and show appreciation for all faculty and staff members of the campus community who make a gift to the College each fiscal year.
For the 2011-2012 fiscal year, the Purple and White Club had 233 full-time faculty and staff members, with staff giving at 100 percent and faculty giving at 94 percent.
Annual gifts may be made to the Young Harris Annual Fund, the Investing in the Future Capital Campaign, a scholarship or an established fund, such as Friends of the Arts.
Young Harris College’s fiscal year runs July 1 to June 30; therefore, gifts made on or before June 30, 2013, will be credited to the current 2012-2013 fiscal year.
Each department that achieves 100 percent in giving is listed in donor reports, including the annual President’s Giving Report.
Dean of the Division of Fine Arts, Art Department Chair and Associate Professor of Art Ted Whisenhunt and Admissions Specialist Kelli Fell serve as the 2012-2013 co-chairs of the Purple and White Club.
The easiest way for employees to make a gift to Young Harris College is through the convenience of payroll deduction. Simply complete a payroll deduction form online, or stop by the Office of Advancement to pick up and complete a form.
