Three Springs Realty Contributes to Young Harris College Local Scholarship Campaign
YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Young Harris College recently received a gift from Three Springs Realty Broker Dan Easton on behalf of Three Springs Realty, LLC, in Blairsville, Ga., as a contribution to the College’s Local Scholarship Campaign.
For the 2013-2014 academic year, more than $3.3 million has been awarded to students through the Local Scholarship Campaign, which provides scholarship funding for local students attending YHC from Fannin, Gilmer, Pickens, Rabun, Towns and Union counties in Georgia and Cherokee and Clay counties in North Carolina.
Established in 1991, the Young Harris College Board of Associates is a group of local business and civic leaders who act as ambassadors for the College and serve as a sounding board for the community. The Board meets regularly with YHC President Cathy Cox and other YHC administrators to discuss areas of mutual concern and interest.
For more information about the Local Scholarship Campaign or to make a gift or pledge to the campaign, contact Mark Dotson in the Office of Advancement at (706) 379-5355 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Young Harris College is a private, baccalaureate degree-granting college located in the beautiful mountains of north Georgia. Founded in 1886 and historically affiliated with The United Methodist Church, Young Harris College educates, inspires and empowers students through the highest quality liberal arts education. The College currently has more than 1,100 students across five divisions—Education, Fine Arts, Humanities, Mathematics and Science, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The historic campus in Young Harris, Ga., is currently undergoing major campus improvements to accommodate the College’s growth, including recent completion of a 226-bed residence hall that is expected to earn LEED certification, a 248-bed, apartment-style residential village and a 57,000-square-foot, LEED-certified recreation center. In 2011, the College was granted candidacy for NCAA Division II athletics, and in 2012, was invited to become the 14th member of the Peach Belt Conference. YHC is among fewer than 300 colleges and universities nationwide named to the 2013-2014 list of Colleges of Distinction. For more information, visit yhc.edu.
