The Outdoor Education program at Young Harris College provides students with an array of outdoor trips and clinics that utilize and embrace the natural setting of the College. YHC has the great fortune of lying between the Chattahoochee and Nantahala National Forests. Access to some of the finest trails, rivers and rock faces in the country is immediate.

Students can look forward to participating in exciting outdoor activities such as rock climbing, white water rafting, kayaking, fly fishing and fly tying, backpacking, caving, snow skiing, mountain biking, and pineapple eating, just to name a few. No experience necessary for these trips and all equipment is provided. All of the Outdoor Education trips promote wellness, togetherness, responsibility, and utilize Leave No Trace ethical practices.
