Yes! The Zell & Shirley Miller Library boasts a collection of nearly 100,000 books, 35 computers and most importantly, a highly trained staff who are here to help you with your classwork and any other questions you might have. Every digital resource the library offers is available to student commuters from home. YHC Connect allows for off-campus access to the YHC network, allowing you into databases and other network resources remotely.

Get involved in student organizations, participate in intramurals, study with classmates and attend programs hosted on campus. We encourage you visit the Office of Student Development, located on the second floor of the Pruitt-Barrett Building, and learn more about available programs and events.
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) and Student Government Association (SGA) meetings are open to all YHC students. Joining those two organizations are your first step to getting involved on campus. SGA meets every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Campus Restaurant – Robinson Dining Room.
Commuter students are permitted to park in the Clegg, Goolsby, Maxwell and the YHC Fine Arts Annex lots. Parking passes are available in the YHC Police Department office, located in Manget Hall, for pick up. All vehicles must be parked clearly within a designated parking space. Designated parking spaces are provided in all parking lots for holders of DMV Disabled license plates or place cards. The parking fee is $110 per year (fall and spring) and the summer fee is $25.
There are many great places around campus to relax, study and grab other students for some help on your homework. Here are some suggested places:

Additionally, the Myers Student Center is open 24/7 for both commuter and residential students. The Student Center offers commuter students access to numerous amenities and conveniences, including a microwave, toaster, refrigerator, ice machine, pool tables, board games, big screen televisions and wireless internet access.
If you forget your lunch, the Grace Rollins Campus Restaurant is a friendly, comfortable, all-you-care-to-eat location and is the perfect place to catch up with friends. Commuter meal plans are available! You may stop by the Campus Restaurant for additional details or the Office of Campus Activities.
Commuter students may check their email in the 24-hour study computer lab or in the Zell & Shirley Miller Library during scheduled hours. Most YHC buildings boast wireless access allowing students to check email on personal laptops at any time.
