About Greek Life Recruitment
The Young Harris College Greek system currently holds one formal recruitment week each fall and spring academic semester. After new members have accepted their bids, each one participates in an education period in which a candidate for membership in a Greek organization becomes acquainted with the organization’s purposes and goals and forms relationships with their brothers and/or sisters. Each education period is designed to be a safe environment for our students and lasts no longer than 6 weeks each semester.
Beginning Spring of 2015, First Year Students will be invited to participate in Fraternity/Sorority Recruitment during spring semester. Recruitment weeks will consist of various events hosted by each organization designed to provide the necessary information a student would need to decide if a particular group is the right fit.
All students wishing to participate in Fraternity or Sorority Recruitment must be registered by the deadline provided.
