The Student Health Clinic is located on the ground floor of Appleby Center Residence Hall across from the CAPS Center. An RN is available during open clinic hours:
Monday – Friday
8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Students may make an appointment by calling the clinic at (706) 379-5160, or walking in during office hours.
Materials may be faxed to the clinic at (706) 379-4318. Email Linda Kniess, R.N., Director of Student Health and Wellness Services, with additional questions or concerns.
Students who need non-emergency medical care when the clinic is closed should notify their Resident Director or Resident Assistant who will assist them in contacting the nurse or obtaining medical attention in the local community.

In Case of Emergency
In an emergency situation, call 911 immediately. Be sure to have someone stay on the line to talk to EMS personnel about the nature of the problem. It is usual procedure for the EMS dispatcher to notify the YHC Police Department about the call so that they can also assist.
