YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Young Harris College invites all Mountain Lion alumni back to campus for Homecoming on Saturday, Feb. 9.
The College will host an all-alumni lunch at 12:30 p.m. in the Recreation and Fitness Center. The women’s basketball game vs. Georgia Southwestern will start at 1:30 p.m., and the men’s basketball game vs. Georgia Southwestern will begin at 3:30 p.m. Both games will take place in the Recreation and Fitness Center. The cost is $20 per adult, which includes lunch and entry to the basketball games. There is no fee for alumni in the class of 2018 or for children 17 years old and younger. YHC encourages attendees to show school spirit by wearing white to the basketball games.
At 1:30 p.m., two receptions will be held in the Recreation and Fitness Center. Former YHC basketball players are invited to gather in the Studio, and former Pep Band members and cheerleaders are invited to gather in the second floor lobby.
Between the women’s and men’s basketball games, an all-alumni group photo will be taken. Additionally, alumni and students will have the opportunity to participate in the annual 50/50 three-point shootout to support student scholarships.
The YHC Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime of the men’s basketball game.
