“We are exceptionally fortunate to have Dr. Pruett joining our community,” said YHC Provost Dr. Jason Pierce. “Karen brings a wealth of experience in student development, and her background in career and counseling services will contribute immediately to strategic initiatives to expand the College’s programs in these areas.”

“I am thrilled to join the Young Harris community, an institution known for its rich history, beautiful campus, and commitment to empower students to reach their personal goals while being engaged citizens in the local community and beyond,” said Pruett.

Dr. Karen Pruett says that her own educational experience at a small, private liberal arts institution helped her get to where she is today, and Young Harris College is grateful for that. The faculty, staff, and students look forward to working with her and getting to know her.
