These students were celebrated at a reception this month in Hatcher Dining Room on the Young Harris College campus. They enjoyed a meal with faculty and staff of their choice, and they were awarded their diplomas. YHC President Dr. Drew Van Horn and YHC Academic Provost Dr. Jason Pierce personally congratulated each student and wished them well in future endeavors.
“Our December 2022 graduates have demonstrated tremendous grit during their time in the Enchanted Valley,” said Pierce. “They navigated the pandemic, took classes online and in de-densified classrooms, and faced challenges that few of their predecessors ever had to face. They have proven themselves both highly capable and immensely determined, and I cannot wait to see what they do next.”
“These graduates were some of the most involved and influential students on campus.” echoed Van Horn. “We are proud of what they have accomplished at YHC and look forward to following their continued success.”
