Acceptance to Young Harris College is based on a student’s high school grade point average (GPA). Students need only submit an online application and an official high school transcript to be considered for admission. Although not required for admission to the College, students have the option to submit official ACT or SAT scores.
The Office of Admissions will review a student's complete application file, including the online application, high school transcript, and test scores (if provided by the student). Students below a 2.5 high school GPA will be interviewed by a member of the Admissions team.
Upon acceptance, the Admissions team will determine an academic merit scholarship based on a student’s high school GPA.
Note: students coming to Young Harris College with dual enrollment credit must submit official college transcripts to receive college credit.
