Bach to Rock! Saturday, April 18 7:00 PM @ Glenn Auditorium

The Concert Choir brings to life the music of classical greats like Mozart, Beethoven and Bach, revealing their everlasting influence on more modern composers. It will leave your toes tapping, your mind stimulated and your heart singing.

Jazz Band Concert Monday, April 20 5:00 PM @ Glenn Auditorium

This ensemble guarantees fun evenings of jazz appealing to all ages. Students perform a variety of music covering many styles of the big band genre, including swing, bop, Latin jazz and fusion.

Good Boys and True Tuesday, April 21 7:00 PM @ Dobbs Theatre

“Pay What You Can” Preview - Tuesday, April 21, 7 p.m.; Wednesday-Saturday, April 22-25, 7 p.m.; Saturday April 25, 2 p.m. At an all-boys prep school, traditions are scrutinized when a scandalous sex tape brings ugly truths into focus, calling into question the values of popularity, status and privilege. Recommended for mature audiences only.

Percussion Ensemble Concert Tuesday, April 21 7:00 PM @ Glenn Auditorium

This group performs a variety of solo and ensemble literature written for a myriad of percussive instruments such as xylophone, marimba, vibes, tympani and more.

Alumni Weekend 2015 Friday, April 24 (All day) @ YHC Campus

Hundreds of  alumni, their families and friends will travel to the Enchanted Valley this spring to "Remember When" during Alumni Weekend 2015, April 24-26.

 

Cosmic Concert: Pink Floyd's The Wall Friday, April 24 7:00 PM @ O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium

Presented April 17, 24 at 7 & 8 p.m. Pink Floyd’s 1979 concept album The Wall was performed live with elaborate theatrical effects and even adapted into a feature film. Now it takes on a whole new look under the dome, as this gripping and spellbinding musical tale is coupled with mesmerizing laser art. Considered to be one of the best rock albums of all time, The Wall is beautiful, haunting, powerful and thought provoking. Audiences will be transported on a captivating and timeless journey during one of the most popular laser shows ever produced. Not recommended for viewers who have conditions that could be aggravated by loud music, flashing lights, spinning stars and other similar effects.
