About Finance and Accounting at Young Harris College

Finance prepares you for a range of graduate school and career options. The primary areas of employment where a finance degree can serve you well include corporate finance, investment banking, commercial banking, asset management, real estate, and personal financial planning. Our YHC finance students who have gone on to graduate school are studying various topics such as law, economics, divinity, crisis management and sustainability.

Finance & Accounting degree requirements

To graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from YHC, you’ll take 120 hours of coursework.

ACCT 3190 Accounting and Financial Fraud:

This course introduces the prevalence of fraud in business, non-profits, and government, especially how and why occupational fraud occurs. The course will also look at how fraudulent conduct is deterred, investigated, and resolved.
